A Brooklyn bar, with a bowling alley!

In 2007, The Gutter opened in Williamsburg Brooklyn. It was the first bowling alley to open in BK in 40 years! We brought in eight vintage lanes from the Midwest, creating a unique space for friends to mingle, enjoy a friendly game, and drink independent craft beers at the bar.

Gutter takes the G to LIC!

Ten years later in 2017, Gutter went across the Pulaski Bridge and brought 8 more vintage lanes to Long Island City. This time giving customers a galley kitchen for bowling bites to drink with their craft beers, many from our wonderful neighborhood breweries!

Gutter takes Manhattan!

Covid couldn’t stop Gutter! Opening in 2020, we went and built our biggest yet, with 12 lanes, a full kitchen, featuring brick oven pizza, and for the first time welcoming all ages!

Gutter branches out and UP!

Our newest location opened in 2025 in beautiful Biddeford, Maine—a town we believe is the best in all of Maine! Located just 20 minutes south of Portland, this spot blends the relaxed energy of our Brooklyn location, the community spirit of our Long Island City spot, and the family-friendly, great-food focus of our Manhattan venue.
